Notcoin Announces Web3 Game

- The game will be launched in conjunction with NFT marketplace Getgems and NFT collection Lost Dogs
- Notcoin admitted that its earlier approach to gaming wasn’t sustainable
Popular clicker game Notcoin has announced that it’s diving deeper into the blockchain -gaming world to continue engaging the gaming community. Notcoin disclosed that it has partnered with NFT projects Lost Dogs and Getgems to create a web3 game. The game will feature Lost Dogs NFTs as characters that can be groomed as players complete quests, and allow players to mine a new token called WOOF, a sign that Notcoin is committed to exploring the blockchain world.
Six-week Journey
Known as “Lost Dogs: The Way,” the game will be free to play and will follow “a community-driven story.” According to information provided in an X thread, the game will last for six weeks with players earning points by simply logging in every day.
The game allows players to form squads and hatch strategies, something that multiplies their NOT token holdings. Notcoin disclosed that the web3 game’s launch marks the start of “a new era.”
In a separate post, the TON-based project announced a new platform known as “Not Games” which it said will have new rules and provide new adventures. Notcoin revealed that the new platform will feature games from builders wishing to engage with the Notcoin community.
Hamster Kombat to Conduct the “Biggest Airdrop in History”
The new Notcoin web3 game comes as another Telegram-based clicker game, Hamster Kombat, is adding more games to keep players engaged as it prepares to conduct its much-anticipated airdrop which it recently hinted may be the biggest airdrop in history.
Notcoin joins other entities like Ubisoft that have recently announced NFT mints for upcoming web3 games. Other web3 projects like The Sandbox , have announced a governing body while ex-Disney and Marvel employees are working on a web3 game publisher .
With Notcoin unveiling entry into web3 games, it’s to be seen whether other popular clicker games like Hmaster Kombat will make a similar move.
